Christmas has come and gone. Mom and Paul left yesterday. I can hardly remember any of it. I'm starting to take down the decorations today.

My babies were killed yesterday. Lucky and Dex escaped the yard and ran into the street, they both were hit. Dex died instantly and Lucky held on for a few minutes. I'm devastated and cant stop crying. I just want to forget Xmas.

I have the whole weekend off and its soooooooooo good. Yesterday I actually dragged everything out of the garage and cleaned the shit out of it. I'm also trying to get ready for X-mas. I want to decorate the house this year. Other than working 65 hours a week theres nothing else new. Oh, by the way, Happy Birthday Daddy!

Nov 15
Well, Grand Opening was last Thursday and it really wasn't too bad. There were alot of people but we werent swamped. Today is opening day for shotgun deer so we wont be that busy. Tomorrow will be a different story since there's no hunting on Sundays. I love the job, cant say the same about my co-workers. 2 were fired and 2 quit before we even opened. Believe it or not I've already asked for a raise and will find out this next week if it goes through.
The problem I'm finding with working 40-50 hours a week is, I never have time for anything else. Housework, yardwork, kids, you name it, it's suffering. I'm trying to get more organized. X-mas will be fun, I cant wait.
Anyway, I'm going in today at 2pm so I have to run and get some housework done.

I swear this computer is driving me nuts. Joe had been surfing a lot of weird sites and picked up a shitload of viruses. Because of the new Windows, my old virus scan doesnt work anymore. So when my computer started freaking out I knew what it was. I think I got rid of them all now. I'm off to work!

I had the weekend off sortof ( i worked Old Navy last night from 7pm-11:30 pm) and it was nice. Outdoor World is coming along pretty fast. Friday we finally got the fish for the giant tank and more will arrive on Monday. I've been really busy most of the time, trying to study up on GPS and fishfinders. The before and after care that I have to pay for is cleaning me out, we're hoping that I get a good raise after the 90 day probation period. Anyway, thats about it. Oh, Mom called this morning and is having me look for airline tickets for around X-mas time. I told her it would be expensive since she waited till the last minute, and when I looked at some prices the cheapest I could find was 332.00 per person. Nasty! I dunno if she's coming or not, I guess we'll see. Well, I gotta run and cook dinner. Only 11 days left till the big 36, although I tell everyone I'm 28, hehe. Ta-ta!

Ok, its finally Friday and I'm so so soooooooo glad. I've never been so tired in my life. I'm doing a lot of physical labor, unloading semi's with one other guy.......I cant explain it, I love it but it sucks. I wont be doing this when the store opens. Once the construction guys finish my section of the store, I'll start stocking it up. We cant go near it until they finish. Soooooo, until then I'm in receiving.
I'll be quitting Old Navy for good tomorrow night. I need my weekends to relax.

Sept. 30
Isabel wiped us out for quite awhile. We just got power back 3 days ago. The kids went back to school yesterday on a two hour delay, which really screws up our world. I'm working at Bass now full-time 8am-5 pm five days a week and possibly Saturdays as well. I like it so far, its better than folding clothes.
We still have trees leaning dangerously in the back yard. Our next door neighbor seems not to care, we havent seen him in a week. He has a big hole in his roof, you'd think he'd be out here trying to fix it. Anyway, I have to bolt, it takes me 40 minutes to get to work.

Isabel is about 1/2 a day away right now. I'm not worried too much,, well, maybe alittle. My biggest worry is the trees, I have so many and they're huge. I found the number for my homeowners insurance and I'm just hoping for the best. We finished putting all our backyard stuff up, got lots of water and filled the cars up with gas. Now we wait. Nothing will be open tomorrow, half of the area has evacuated. I bet the hurricaine fizzles out before it even reaches us, people always make a bigger deal about these things than they should.
I had orientation on Monday and Tuesday for Bass. Wednesdays orientation was cancelled onna count of Isabel. I start work on Monday at 8 am. I'm very excited, they have great benefits. The store is incredible and they carry soooo much stuff. I'll be working in Marine to begin with, at least I wont be folding clothes anymore! YAY!

I picked up my schedule on Saturday and I was only given 5 hours for next week! FIVE. I was livid. So I go to Jim (our Operations manager) and let him know I cant live on 5 hours, I need more. So blah, blah, blah, we didnt make enough money last week and payroll is short blah blah blah. Anyway, I manage to squeeze 12 more hours out of him, which still sucks but is better than 5. Old navy is seriously on my last nerve. I'm so worried/crazy/anxious about Bass calling me back, I dont go anywhere without my phone. I'm hoping they call this week.
